Adam is Practice Director for Resource Efficiency & Waste Management at Ricardo Energy & Environment, and has 26 years of environment sector experience as a local authority officer, academic, and consultant. Adam is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He has held a number of visiting academic posts in the past including Visiting Professor of Waste Management at Northampton University, and has examined PhDs at a number of the UK’s leading institutions. He specialises in waste management strategy, recycling service design, technology selection & procurement, and stakeholder engagement. Adam is currently on the Midlands Centre Council for the CIWM, is the UK representative on the ISWA communications working group and is well known as a workshop facilitator, journalist, blogger and conference presenter.
